QuickMail for iPhone
Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the QuickMail app for iPhone. By using the app, you agree to them.
1. What QuickMail is
QuickMail is a native mail client that connects to a QuickMail email server. Quivren publishes the app but does not operate, host, or monitor any mail server. A configured QuickMail server that you or someone you authorized deploys is required for the app to work. Your mailbox, messages, attachments, and account data live on that server under its operator's control.
2. License and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use QuickMail on devices you own or control, as installed through the App Store or built from its open-source code. You may not use the app to send unlawful, harassing, or spam content; to attempt unauthorized access to servers or accounts; or to redistribute modified versions in violation of the project's open-source license.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for deploying, configuring, securing, and backing up the QuickMail server you connect to.
- You are responsible for keeping pairing codes and device access safe, and for revoking devices you no longer use.
- Mail delivery depends on transport providers configured on your server (such as Resend or Cloudflare Email Service); their terms apply to delivery.
4. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app as the project evolves. The app's source code is publicly available, and feature changes are visible there. We aim to keep pairing and mailbox behavior stable across updates but do not guarantee that older server versions will remain compatible forever.
5. No warranty
QuickMail is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Because your mail infrastructure is self-hosted, we cannot guarantee availability, delivery, or backup of your data.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quivren and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption arising from your use of the app or your self-hosted server, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Third-party services
The app interacts with services outside these terms: the Apple App Store and Apple platforms, your own cloud hosting, and your configured mail transport provider. Their respective terms govern those parts of your setup. Content inside emails you receive is the responsibility of its senders.
8. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the product changes. The current version applies to all uses of the app from August 24, 2026 onward, and material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to quickmail-support@quivren.com or raised on the project's GitHub issue tracker.
